Stunning Low Garden Chair By Scott Collins

If you’re someone who’s happier laid out on the grass soaking up the rays than sat upright on a chair, the Urban Lounge collection could be the furniture set for you.

Designed to have you as near to the ground as possible without having to get a damp bum when the grass is still a little dewy (or more likely after a good old Summer shadow), this range of low garden furniture hovers just above the ground and allows you to adopt that very chilled out position that normal garden chairs don’t allow.

And it’s not just natural in it’s design, this low garden chair is equally natural in it’s composition, having been constructed by one single piece of bent plywood that requires no fasteners and leaves little in terms of waste.

The talent behind these gorgeously ergonomic chairs is Chicago based seamster, carpenter, musician and award winning designer, Scott Collins, who sees this chair as just the beginning of a larger collection that will include side chairs, benches and ever outdoor tables.

Personally I really love this type of design and would love to own this furniture myself - fingers crossed it makes it into the global market!
